Frank Bono, D.O.
Dr. Frank Bono is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spine disorders. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Biology and Chemistry. In 2000, he completed his medical school education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FLorida where he earned his degree in Osteopathic Medicine. He performed both his internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Having completed a Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Surgery fellowship in the Department of Spinal Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he started The BioSpine Institute to continue the advancement of Minimally Invasive Spinal Technology.
James Ronzo, D.O.
Dr. Ronzo is nationally recognized as a leader in minimally invasive spine surgery and regularly shares his expertise in the operating room with visiting spine surgeons from around the country. A graduate of the University of Central Florida and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami where he received his medical degree. He spent five years in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where he fulfilled his orthopedic surgery residency and internship. Followed by the completion of his orthopedic surgery fellowship at Tampa General Hospital.
Roderick Claybrook, M.D.
Roderick Claybrooks, M.D. graduated with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1999. He then went on to complete his Orthopedic Surgery internship and residency at the Detroit Medical Center in 2004. In 2005, he completed a combined Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Claybrooks was recognized by the Consumer’s Research Council of Americas Guide to Top Orthopedist and named a “Top Doc” by Hour Magazine. In 2009, Dr. Roderick Claybrooks was named Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University and in 2016 he was named Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. Dr. Claybrooks has taught minimally invasive spine surgery techniques as a core-faculty member of the Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center orthopedic residency programs as well as the St. John Providence Neurosurgery residency programs. Dr. Claybrooks has performed more than 7,000 minimally invasive procedures during his career and his research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals around the world.
